Argentina monthly core inflation: May 2024

The figure for Argentina monthly core inflation for May 2024 was 3.7%. That is 2.6 pp lower than in April 2024 (6.3%). In May 2023 it was 7.8%. From January to May 2024, the cumulative figure is 62.9%. It is the lowest reading since January 2022 (3.3%). The central bank's survey of economists (REM, median) expected 5.0%. Source: INDEC.
